About Kids for Kids
Our Executive Director, Patty Padgett, is a professional educator specializing in early childhood development for preschool-aged children. She also serves as a gardening teacher in Palm Beach County and has worked in horticulture since 1980.
After serving as a missionary in Thailand and Haiti, Patty felt God’s call in 2015 to support a group of orphans being raised by a single mother without assistance. In response, Kids for Kids began growing and selling plants with the help of children in Palm Beach County to provide support for children in Haiti. Today, we continue fundraising through farming initiatives and by seeking sponsors for Haitian children in need of education and basic necessities, with the hope of helping them build a brighter future.

In Loving Memory of Jeanette Lapierre
We lovingly honor the memory of our beloved “Mom” Jeanette, who cared for and raised these children as her very own. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, love, and devotion, and we are committed to continuing the work she held so close to her heart—guiding these children to love, honor, and obey the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others. Jeanette LaPierre Milce was a devoted community leader and served as the director and principal of Yahve Shamma, a Christian school in Pétion-Ville, Haiti.
